Flexible Leasing Terms
You simply sign a month-to-month lease and if you intend to vacate, you can do so by giving us 14 days’ written notice before the end of the month. This means you don’t have to pay for storage at a time when you don’t need it.

How does self-storage work?

It is simple and easy. You choose a unit and store your goods safely and securely until you decide to vacate. You will be the only person who has access to your unit and have the option to put your own lock on the door, or to purchase a high-security lock from our friendly staff at our on-site retail store.

What is the minimum time I have to store my goods?

One month. If you decide to move out you only have to give us 14 days’ notice before the end of the month. If you do not give us notice, your contract will continue on a month-to-month basis.

How long can I store my goods?

Some of our customers have realised that self-storage is an affordable extension to their homes or businesses, located right in their neighbourhood. You can store with us for us long as you require.

Do I have to sign a contract before I move my goods into storage?

Yes, you will be required to sign a simple contract with the terms and conditions of use. You can print the form right here or visit our facility where we will assist you to finalise.

What payment options do you have?

You can make payment via any of the standard methods, including cash, EFT, debit order or credit card.

Can you help me move my goods to storage?

Our staff can assist you with moving your heavier items into your unit. There are also trollies available for your convenience.

Can you help me with packaging materials?

We stock all packaging material necessary for your move at our on-site retail store. We encourage the use of our high-security padlocks for use on the roller shutter doors. Sit down and relax in our retail environment, where our friendly staff will gladly listen to your unique challenges and offer solutions. Enjoy a refreshing filter coffee, while you take some time to plan your next steps.

How do I find the right size unit?

Please call our office where our professional and experienced staff will be able to assess your needs and suggest a suitable size unit.

What happens if I choose the wrong size unit?

If you realise that your unit is not the right size, we will assist you to move to another available unit.

How long does the entire process take – can I move in right now?

The process can literally take 10 minutes where after you can immediately move your goods into storage. Choose a size, sign a month-to-month contract and make payment on site while our staff assists you to offload.

How high is my unit?

Most of the units are 2.8m high; however some of the units might vary. Please confirm on site with our staff.

How do I lock my unit?

You can bring your own lock or purchase a high-security lock from our on-site retail store. We don’t have access to your unit.

When can I access my Storage unit?

You can access your unit from 07:00 in the morning to 19:00 at night. You can also make arrangements with us for after-hours access.

What if I urgently need my goods in the middle of the night?

You can make arrangements to have access to your goods after hours, or in case of an emergency, contact our after-hours number and we will open the facility to assist you.

What are the office hours?

The office will be open from 09:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday and from 09:00 to 12:00 on a Saturday.

You can store any item in your unit. Please however take note that you will, for obvious reasons, not be allowed to store the following goods:

  • Drugs or any other illegal substances
  • Flammable goods
  • Animals and plants or any other living creature
  • Stolen goods
  • Toxic material or any other hazardous waste
  • Cash
